Week of February 9, 2026
At RLS, our mission, is to ensure that all students learn at grade level or higher
RLS, we've got two back to back short weeks coming at us. There is no school on Friday, February 13 and Monday, February 16 in honor of President's weekend. 
 
I need to ask your assistance with something-we have an increase in vandalism due to gum. I know it's impossible to govern everything your children have and gum is probably the least of our worries as parents of teenagers. To the best of your ability, please avoid sending your student to school with gum and opt for tic-tacs, breath mints, etc. Thank you! 
8th-Grade Families Only-
As a reminder, students cannot have more than 4 F's total or fail Math/ELA twice between trimesters 2 and 3 and still participate in the promotion ceremony. Additionally, any student suspended more than 3 days over the course of this school year cannot participate in the promotion ceremony and promotion celebration. We offer after school study hall four times per week in addition to two access classes every Tuesday. We partner with Aldea and UpValley to provide support for students struggling with behavior and peer relations.

Yosemite update:
You will receive a packet from RLS with our own documents that require signatures, medication lists, packing lists, etc. We will also be finalizing a headcount to avoid unnecessary fees with Nature Bridge.
