Here we are! The last week before the Holidays, New Years, and the close of the first half of the school year. As a father of three teens, two in middle school and one in high school, a senior to be exact I recognize these moments and days are precious. We appreciate and value sharing them with you. We wish your family and loved ones happy holidays and wonderful new year. This week, thanks to PG, we are celebrating the staff at RLS with various treats and celebrations each day. Thank you so much to our wonderful, hard-working, and kind PG for always making us feel appreciated and valued. We continue with the STAR Benchmark this week in ELA and Math classes. Our Vball and Bball teams continue with competitions this week, see calendar linked below. 6th grade heads to the Lawrence Hall of Science on Thursday and Friday is a minimum day. Monday through Thursday are all 7 periods, no change in typical start or end times.

November - CONSTRUCT
Good morning RLS Scholars! Have you ever built a creation with legos? What about a model airplane or a layered burrito? Well, then you, my friend, have demonstrated our word of the month for November. Can you guess it? CONSTRUCT! How are you using the word CONSTRUCT in your classes? What do you CONSTRUCT at school? At home? In your relationships? Be ready to show what you know at lunch and in your classes!
