Congrats to our Champs so far this season! Great work team and coaches! 
A few items for this week:
  • Mister Brown will be here for our school wide assembly on Monday, February 3! Click the link to find out more. 
    • Mister Brown will be here all day to interact with and engage our students. Thank you PG for your partnership! 
  • 7th Grade trip to Castello di Amorosa 9-12:30-Wedensday.
  • Progress reports are mailed home on Thursday. 
  • There is a Know Your Rights Parents Workshop on Friday, February 7 from 5-7 @ The PAC

  • This week our students participated in The Great Kindness Challenge! Pictures and winners below. Thank you leadership/Ms. Vicki, Ms. Simon, and Ms. Hernandez for your engagement! 
  • Families, as a reminder, video games of any kind are not allowed on campus and would be subject to confiscation if out and/or being used. We have a seen a few students with Nintendo Switches recently. Thank you!
  • Please make sure you are checking Aeries regularly and receiving Google Classroom summaries, if you signed up for them! Our teachers are diligent in updating these.

Tutoring reminder:
We have students who are hanging out and coming very late. If students are not lined up and prepared to learn at 3:15, we will have to turn them away. Thank you for your support in reminding your student. 

AVID Word of The Month  

February Relevant

RLS academic aficionados, our AVID word of the month is relevant. Relevant is closely connected or appropriate to what is being done.  If I was baking cookies, I’d need relevant materials, such as a baking sheet, a mixing bowl, flour, and sugar.  A wrench and nails, that would be irrelevant to baking and relevant to building!
